Traineeships

Traineeships are a government initiative designed to provide employees with workplace training and gain nationally recognised and endorsed qualifications.The Australian Government provides a range of incentives to encourage employers to take on new Apprentices/Trainees and provide them with high quality employment and training. An Australian Apprenticeship centre provides a free service to employers to help them with information on government incentives and the sign-up and administration of a new Apprenticeship/Traineeship.

Melbourne Training Options (MTO) is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) providing training and assessment services to various industries. We are registered with the Office of Training and Tertiary Education to deliver nationally endorsed vocational education and training under the Australian Quality Training Framework. MTO aims to assist individuals and organisation's to realise their future aspirations by providing the highest quality training and assessment services and issuing nationally recognised endorsed qualifications and awards.

MSA30107 Certificate III - Process Manufacturing

This qualification is designed for people working in the Manufacturing Industry. Training will cover OH&S, contribute to workplace effectiveness, apply quality practices and processes, and workplace communication. Suitable for machine operators, production operators, process workers and product assemblers.

MCM40104 Certificate IV - Competitive Manufacturing

This qualification is designed for Team Leaders, Supervisors and Management positions within the Manufacturing Industry. It is designed to enhance and improve business outcomes such as quality, productivity levels, waste and cost reduction, continuous improvement and OH&S.

TLI30107 Certificate III - Transport & Logistics (Warehousing and Storage)

This qualification is part of the Transport and Distribution Training Package, Warehousing Stream, and provides training for employees who work in general warehouse operations, stores, forklift drivers, drivers and dispatch personnel.

BSB40807 Certificate IV in Frontline Management

This qualification is designed to enhance and encourage professional development. It is suitable for employees such as managers, supervisors and or team leaders who develop and lead work teams to Business outcomes, undertake higher level internal and external communications to various clientele.

BSB30407 Certificate III - Business Administration

The qualification is designed to develop the skills and knowledge of those employees working in a business environment and wishing to enter a more specialised role. Suitable for administration staff, receptionist, personal assistant and or office positions.

BSB40307 Certificate IV - Customer Contact

This qualification is suitable for employees who undertake a leadership role or perform customer service work as well as provide high level services to customers, use multiple technologies and take responsibility for outcomes of customer contact and rectify complex situations.

SIR30207 Certificate III - Retail

The qualification has been designed to develop the skills and knowledge of those employees working in the retail sector. Maintain and order stock, advise and recommend products and general customer service.

SIT30707 Certificate III - Hospitality

The Certificate is designed for employees working in the hospitality industry. Duties can include preparing and serving food and drink, housekeeping, waiting, serve coffee and general customer service.

TLI31107 Certificate III - Transport & Logistics (Logistics Operations)

This qualifications is designed for employees who organise the supply of goods from vendors to customers. That is the supply distribution of stock and resources. A major part of the role includes organising, maintaining warehouse and freight documentation.

 

 

 

 

ICA20105 Certificate II - Information Technology

This certificate provides fundamental skills in IT. The program has been organised to provide students with general skill, background information and specific knowledge about IT.

ICA30105 - Certificate III - Information Technology

This certificate is suitable for employees providing software support to other staff. Duties may include developing templates and macros, installing software, running diagnostic test and providing basic training on computer software usage to clients.
